Halloween Magic 1987

Yep, that's me, it was 1987 and I was in the first grade, showing off my Halloween costume.  I have to thank my mom for making all of my costumes.  I can remember going to the fabric store and looking at all of the pattern books trying to figure out what I wanted to be.

Hey Mom and Dad, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!

Ta-Da!

This was also the year I entered the Halloween coloring contest at the Chandler Halloween Carnival.

As you can see, my love of all things sparkley started at a young age.

I was so excited that I had won second place too!

We always had to stop by Grandma and Grandpa's for trick or treating.  This year she dressed up as a California Raisin, remember them?
