I'm so excited to be designing a Toy Story themed birthday party for one of the cutest soon to be 3 year olds ever! I was inspired by the carnival like atmosphere of the Toy Story Mania ride at Disney's California Adventure, if you haven't had a chance to check it out adults and kids alike are guaranteed a fun time. Here's a little peek at the adorable Mr. Potato Head mustaches I made for the party, as well as a tutorial to show you how to make your own.
Supplies:
Mustache Lollipop Candy Mold
Paper Straws or 6" Lollipop Sticks
Chocolate Candy Melts
Rainbow Nonpareils
Directions:
Place your paper straws or lollipop sticks inside your mustache mold. Melt chocolate candy melts according to the package directions. Carefully pour a small amount of chocolate into the mold and gently tap the mold on your counter to remove any air bubbles.
Sprinkle nonpareils on to the back of the mustache and place in the freezer for approximately 15 minutes. Gently remove chocolate mustaches from the mold and place in the fridge until it's party time!

I love this mold! I always wanted to use paper straws with them but didn't think it would 'sink' into the spacing since it's narrow for a lollipop stick! Glad to see it does!
I love the idea of sprinkling nonpareils to the back!

Brandi! I LOVE this! I must make them even if I don't have any mustache related parties going on! Please please please where did you get the molds I must have one! The striped paper straws just put it over the top fantastic!
