{Cupcake Love} Sprinkles Cupcake Mix

I absolutely love Sprinkles Cupcakes and was excited to try their cupcake mix at home. Mixes are available in several delicious flavors and included their signature fondant decoration. I decided to go with the dark chocolate and was not disappointed.

The cupcakes were moist and delicious, just like from your local Sprinkles Bakery and their Chocolate Buttercream recipe was to die for. Although the mixes were more on the expensive side, $14 each, they're well worth it for a special treat. You can find the Sprinkles Cupcake Mixes at Williams-Sonoma.

I love the signature fondant dots on each Sprinkles Cupcake, so I designed some free mini notecards inspired by this adorable cupcake icon!

I'm loving Pinterest! If you haven't stopped by this wonderful place to collect all of your favorite ideas and inspiration you must. One of my favorite things to do now is take Pinterest break. I love being able to pin all of my ideas on to different boards and share them with all of my friends. Since the 4th of July is quickly approaching, I thought it would be fun to put together some inspiration for a spectacular celebration.

I absolutely love this dress from ModCloth, too bad it's sold out.

{Real Parties} Toy Story Inspired 3rd Birthday!

Ashdon had his 3rd Birthday and is absolutely in love with Toy Story, so of course we decided on a Toy Story Inspired Birthday party. We used bright, bold colors and incorportated the Toy Story characters throughtout the decor.

Some of the delicious goodies included Chocolate Mr. Potato Head Mustaches and Buzz Lightyear Rocket Cookies.

And of course a party isn't complete without cupcakes! We topped the cupcakes with our printable Party Punchables from our new Toy Box Collection, now available in our Etsy Shop.

Other party elements included Woody's Rainbow Lollipops, Toy Story Bubbles made great party favors and fun and colorful paper decorations.

Ashdon absolutely loved his party and it was so much fun to create such an exciting birthday party for him.

Baking - Mr Potato Head Mustaches

I'm so excited to be designing a Toy Story themed birthday party for one of the cutest soon to be 3 year olds ever! I was inspired by the carnival like atmosphere of the Toy Story Mania ride at Disney's California Adventure, if you haven't had a chance to check it out adults and kids alike are guaranteed a fun time. Here's a little peek at the adorable Mr. Potato Head mustaches I made for the party, as well as a tutorial to show you how to make your own.

Supplies:

Mustache Lollipop Candy Mold

Paper Straws or 6" Lollipop Sticks

Chocolate Candy Melts

Rainbow Nonpareils

Directions:

Place your paper straws or lollipop sticks inside your mustache mold. Melt chocolate candy melts according to the package directions. Carefully pour a small amount of chocolate into the mold and gently tap the mold on your counter to remove any air bubbles.

Sprinkle nonpareils on to the back of the mustache and place in the freezer for approximately 15 minutes. Gently remove chocolate mustaches from the mold and place in the fridge until it's party time!

Vanilla Lemon Cupcakes

(vanilla cake recipe adapted from Whisk Kid)

Ingredients:

1 cup unsalted butter, room temperature

2 1/3 cup vanilla sugar*, may also use regular sugar

5 egg whites

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3 cups flour

4 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups heavy cream, microwave for 30 seconds to bring to room temperature

Lemon Curd, I used the Trader Joe's brand

Vanilla Buttercream (recipe to follow)

Yellow Soft Gel Paste Food color

Mini edible pearls, sprinkles, fondant daisies, etc.

With an electric mixer on medium, cream sugar and butter until just combined. One at a time, add the egg whites. Next, add vanilla extract and mix until combined. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt and add to your sugar mixture. With your electric mixer on low speed slowly add heavy cream until just combined. Make sure to not over mix the batter.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line your cupcake pan with paper liners. This recipe can be used for mini or standard sized cupcakes. With a small ice cream scoop, fill your paper liners approximately 2/3 full.

Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 350 degrees, allow cupcakes to cool completely before filling with lemon curd and decorating.

Filling & Decorating:

Using the small end of a melon baller, scoop out the center of your cupcake and fill with lemon curd. Top with vanilla buttercream and decorate to your ♥hearts♥ content.

Vanilla Buttercream Recipe

Indgredients:

2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature

4 - 6 cups sifted powdered sugar

2 tablespoons vanilla, almond or lemon extract

Heavy Cream

With an electric mixer on medium speed, cream together butter and 3 cups sugar until just combined. Add your desired extract, I used vanilla, and 2 tablespoons heavy cream, mix until fully incorporated. Add 1-3 more cups of powdered sugar until desired consistency is reached. If your buttercream becomes too thick add heavy cream 2 tablespoons at a time. Make sure to not over mix, you don't want to have air bubbles in your delicious frosting.

St. Patrick's Day - Irish Cream Shooters

I used the Chocolate Ganache recipe from our Cupcake Love Workshop on Crazy Domestic to make these delicious St. Patty's Day treats! After your ganache is done, place in the fridge to bring it to room temperature, about 40 minutes. Add two tablespoons of Irish Cream and whip with an electric mixer until your ganache thickens into a delicious mousse. Add mousse to a piping bag fitted with a large round piping tip and fill votive candle holders or shot glasses. Sprinkle with a little gold disco dust and enjoy!

I'm starting something new at Tweedle Dee Designs and I'm so excited to share it with you. I was hoping to add a few more collections before I launched this new division of Tweedle Dee Designs, but I just couldn't wait any longer. Since the Sweet Cherry Valentine Collection was already uploaded to our Scribd page from this past January, I thought, why not now.

I love designing printable party supplies and creating inspiration to share with you. However, I am extremely passionate about helping you create memorable events to share with your family and friends. I love hearing how Tweedle Dee Designs has helped you to add that special touch to your party, it means the world to me. As we continue to see the "designer" party trend gain popularity I understand how expensive it can get and that we all might not be able afford to create the spectacular events we swoon over on our favorite blogs.

Tweedle Dee Designs will now be offering some of our party printables as free collections and will be re-designing and uploading them as the chosen collections are completed. Personalized Printables will still be available in our Etsy Shop for those of you who wish to have your items tailored to your event, however, they will be offered at a reduced price. We will also be offering Full Assembled Collections if you need help putting your items together.

Why are we doing this? This has been something I've been thinking about for awhile and have been trying to figure out what it is I really love about this business. I have to say it's coming up with new designs and ideas and helping you to put it all together. As I said above, putting a party together can become quite expensive and I would like to provide you with quality products that you and your guests will enjoy. Going in this direction will also allow me to concentrate on some of the other things I enjoy doing so much, like baking, home decorating and crafts, which I will also be sharing with you.

Behind the Scenes!

Hi Everyone,

I've been super busy unpacking my new apartment, as well as working on some fabulous new things for Tweedle Dee Designs. I haven't had any time to take photos, but wanted to give you all a little peek at what I've been working on. I have a bunch of new collections that are ready to roll and a super special surprise that goes along with them, as well as some fun tutorials and features I've been wanting to share with you. Oh yeah, I'll also be adding some new videos to the blog. I'll be taking you to some of my favorite places around town, as well as showing you around the Tweedle Dee Designs studio!

I've been a fan of Barbie, like many of you, since I was little and have quite the Barbie Collection. However, my absolute favorite is the original 1959 Barbie which inspired this new collection. I also came across some adorable party favors that will probably be involved in some kind of giveaway!

I will defintiely be adding the rest of our Valentine's Day collections to our Scribd page, including our Valentine twist on our Neapolitan Collection. Fingers crossed I can get everything up in time :)

about me

As I'm sure most of you have noticed, I haven't been around for awhile and am now just getting back to blogging and designing. A lot has happened in the past few months, some good, some bad, but all for the best.

Last November, Sean and I decided to end our seven year relationship. It was a hard decision to make, but it was best for both of us. We've been able to remain friends, which I am grateful for and I am so excited to start this new chapter of my life.

I moved into a new apartment and this is the first time I've lived on my own. I've always had somebody there (my parents, a roommate, Sean), it's definitely an adjustment. Of course I'm a little sad, I had to say goodbye to my baby girl Emma Bobo. I'm also a little scared, okay, a lot scared, but I'm really looking forward to all of the adventures I'm sure to have.

I'm really enjoying my new pantry and have had a lot of fun organizing all of my cupcake goodies (I definitely have quite the collection). I was a able to purchase a new couch, which I love and have already established "My Spot". Oh yeah, I also have this gorgeous pink sequin pillow that I've been dying to use, it's super cute!

Thank you so much to all of my family and friends for all of your support and encouragement, I don't have words to say how grateful I am. I also want to thank all of my fans for continuing to support Tweedle Dee Designs even when I, well, disappeared. There are a few more reasons why I haven't been around, but I'm not quite ready to share.

I hope everyone is enjoying their year so far and is excited for some amazing changes at Tweedle Dee Designs, I think you're really going to love it!

I'm so excited to be able to start off the new year by sharing our brand new blog makeover! Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the bleak December,
And each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.
Eagerly I wished the morrow; - vainly I had sought to borrow
From my books surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost Lenore -
For the rare and radiant maiden whom the angels name Lenore -
Nameless here for evermore.

And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain
Thrilled me - filled me with fantastic terrors never felt before;
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating,
"'Tis some visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door -
Some late visitor entreating entrance at my chamber door; -
This it is, and nothing more."

Presently my soul grew stronger; hesitating then no longer,
"Sir," said I, "or Madam, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was napping, and so gently you came rapping,

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there wondering, fearing,

This I whispered, and an echo murmured back the word, "Lenore!" -

Back into the chamber turning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I heard a tapping somewhat louder than before.

Open here I flung the shutter, when, with many a flirt and flutter,
In there stepped a stately raven of the saintly days of yore;

{Cupcake ♥ Love} Chocolate Chocolate Chip Sweet Potato Cupcakes

Yesterday was National Chocolate Cupcake Day. I wasn't going to make anything, but was inspired by all of the delicious chocolate cupcakes, I just couldn't resist. I know that pumpkin is the star of fall desserts and I wanted to try something a little different. These Chocolate Chocolate Chip Sweet Pototo Cupcakes were a total experiment and turned out absolutely delicous.

{Ingredients}

Makes 12 Cupcakes

1/2 Box chocolate cake mix (I used Devil's Food Cake)

2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons vegtable oil

2 tablespoons water

1 Egg

1/2 can (7.5 oz) sweet potato puree

A handful of semi-sweet chocolate chips

{Directions}

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line your cupcake pan with your favorite fall liners.

2. Using a hand mixer on medium speed, mix all ingredients until just combined.

3. With a mini ice cream scoop, fill each of your cupcake liners with about 2 tablespoons of mix.

4. Sprinkle some chocolate chips on top of your cupcake batter. You can also fold 1 cup of chocolate chips into your cupcake mix.

4. Bake cupcakes at 350 degrees F for about 15 to 20 minutes. You should be able to insert a toothpick and have it come out clean.

5. Cool cupcakes completely before frosting.

I could definitely eat these by themselves, but the frosting makes them to die for.

Sweet Potato Cream Cheese Frosting

{Ingredients}

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sweet potato puree

1/4 cup tablespoons butter, softened

1 tablspoon orange juice

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

6 cups confectioner's sugar

{Directions}

1. Using a hand mixer on medium speed, mix cream cheese, sweet potato, butter, orange juice and vanilla until just combined.

2. Add confectioner's sugar 2 cups at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.

3. My frosting was not stiff enough to pipe, so I just drizzled a little on top.

{Note}

The frosting recipe makes about 3-4 cups of ooey gooey goodness. You can cut the recipe in half, double your cupcake recipe or make some delicious cinnamon rolls and use the left overs!

Halloween Magic 1987

Yep, that's me, it was 1987 and I was in the first grade, showing off my Halloween costume. I have to thank my mom for making all of my costumes. I can remember going to the fabric store and looking at all of the pattern books trying to figure out what I wanted to be.

Hey Mom and Dad, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat!

Ta-Da!

This was also the year I entered the Halloween coloring contest at the Chandler Halloween Carnival.

As you can see, my love of all things sparkley started at a young age.

I was so excited that I had won second place too!

We always had to stop by Grandma and Grandpa's for trick or treating. This year she dressed up as a California Raisin, remember them?

New Collection: Twilight Inspired Cocktail & Dessert Party

The werewolves are howling the vampires will bite, it's almost time for Halloween night! It's my favorite time of year and there's so much to look forward to. Our Halloween party is one of my favorite events of the year. My mom and I always have a great time planning our cocktail and dessert party and wanted to add a little Halloween sophistication.

Our newest printable collection found its' inspiration from the Twilight book covers. I just loved the deep red, black, white and silver color palette, with damask accents and the signature apple.

The printable party labels are a great way to tie in your party theme. Being creative with your dessert names is also a fun way to create a memorable experience for your guests.

My Mom had a great time making some of her signature mini desserts and I had a great time sampling them after the shoot.

I've been admiring the couture cookies from Allyson Jane and was so excited to work with Ally on the Party Ghouls Photo Shoot. She did a wonderful job creating these apple cookies, which were a perfect edition to our dessert table.

Stay Awhile, if you dare!

I loved these black and red lollipop sticks, found at Smeek's Sweet Shoppe, they're the perfect party favor and of course a little sparkle was added to our favor tags with our Martha Stewart Glitter.

Okay, if you haven't noticed, I love all things sparkley and desserts are no exception. I added a little red disco dust to the Apple cake pops inspired by non other than Bakerella.

Fabulous Friday Feature: Party Ghouls Boo Crew

I was so excited when I heard that my friend Pam from Party Starters was putting together a Halloween photo shoot with Bonnie from Sadie Days Photography. I quickly responded and offered to design a couple of Halloween Fairytale Tutus for the girls to wear. It was a wonderful collaboration and there were so many amazing photos it was so hard to pick which ones I wanted to share.

Pam did a great job styling the shoot and I absolutely love how everything turned out!

I have no words for how cute the tutus turned out and Bonnie did an incredible job capturing the Halloween magic. After the shoot she had put a sneak peek of the shoot on her blog, I was speechless.

Every year we go all out and have a fun Halloween dinner party. This year I decided to make it a little more sophisticated. Here's a sneak peek at our new Twilight inspired Cocktail Party Collection. I chose to use the signature Twilight colors of red, black, silver and white and added a little sparkle with my Martha Stewart glitter. I don't have a Cupcake ♥ Love Workshop this week, but wanted to share one of my fun finds from this past weekend. One of my favorite magazines is Phoenix Magazine and my favorite issue is the Best of Phoenix. In the past issue, I came across the ABC Cake Decorating Supply Store and was so excited to check it out. I've always purchased all of my baking products online and felt like a kid in, well a candy store.

Here's just a peek at what they had for Halloween goodies. Now imagine an entire store, filled with everything you could ever want when it comes to baking. I could have been here for hours and probably would have been had Sean not been with me.

I was inspired by all of the colors and so excited to get my copy of Bakerella's Cake Pops book! Check back soon for our Bakerella themed giveaway.

Top Two Tuesday: Capture Some Color with Canon & Pantone

Two of my favorite things to help me find inspiration are my Canon Digital Rebel xTi and Pantone Color Formula Guide.

I've always loved photography, it's hard to believe it's been almost 10 years since I received my first camera, a Canon EOS Rebel G. As much as I love my "old" camera, I've really enjoyed my new digital, we've become almost inseparable.

We spent this past weekend in Sedona, AZ and I had a great time playing with some water shots. What do you think?

Fabulous Friday Feature: Back to School Baby Shower

This week's Fabulous Friday Feature comes from Whitney of Whitney Smith Photography. Since the school year has begun, I wanted to share one last back to school party. I came across Whitney's adorable party and was surprised to find out that it was a baby shower. Whitney put together this adorable baby shower for one of her friends who is an elementary school teacher.

I love how she used the blue and red accent colors throughout the party and those sandwiches look delicious.

These favor bags are too cute and totally remind me of going back to school. I love the apple stamp too, a simple and classic back to school touch.

Whitney created this adorable comp book for all of the baby shower memories. What a great idea, definitely my favorite thing from this party.

What would a back to school party be without books? Another adorable idea, I love it!

As we launch our new Neapolitan Party Collection, we thought it would be fun to create a how-to for our Neapolitan Cupcakes. These cupcakes are a simple way to tie in the Neapolitan theme and will help to you create a memorable event.

{Supplies & Ingredients}

Vanilla Cake Mix

Chocolate Cake Mix

Simple Buttercream

Pink Food Coloring (I used Americolor Soft Gel Paste in Soft Pink)

Pastry Bag

Favorite Decorating Tip (I used a Large Plain Round Tip)

Neapolitan Party Collection Party Punchables

1. Line your cupcake pan with your cupcake liners. I used my favorite chocolate brown liners.

2. In two seperate bowls, follow your individual vanilla and chocolate cake recipes to make the cake batter.

3. First, fill your cupcake liners with 2 tablespoons of vanilla cake mix. Next, add 2 tablespoons of chocolate cake mix on top of the vanilla.

4. Bake cupcakes according to your own indiviual recipe. I used a store bought cake mix, which called for 20 mintues at 350 degrees. Remember to rotate your cupcakes half way through your baking time.

5. While your cupcakes are baking you can make your Simple Buttercream recipe. We used 2 drops of the Americolor Soft Gel Paste in Soft Pink to get the pretty pink color.

Aren't they fun! Make sure to let your cupcakes cool completly before decorating.

Welcome to our new Tuesday post, Top Two Tuesday! I absolutely love to bake and can say that cupcakes are my favorite! I love all of the beautiful liners that are on the market, but have to say most times I go for my Chocolate Brown liners. I just bought 500 from Cupcakeology and felt like it was Christmas when they came in the mail. My second choice for this week's Top Two Tuesday is my gorgeous and glittery sanding sugar. Decorating with sanding and colored sugars is such an easy and inexpensive way to make your delicious treats sparkle! Keep your sugars organized with 16 oz deli containers, I found these at Smart & Final, and our Tweedle Dee Designs Party Labels (download for free on Scribd).

New Collection: Neapolitan Printable Party Collection

I'm so excited to introduce our newest printable collection, the Neapolitan Party Collection! Earlier this year I was asked by one of my customers if I would be doing a Neapolitan collection and I was incredibly excited, because I had already been working on a design.

I'm often asked what inspires my designs, here are some of the things that I had gathered for this collection. As you can see I'm partial to a little sparkle, but what girl isn't.

When designing my printable collections, I start with Party Punchables. I also always try and include an unexpected design element, in this collection it was a splash of baby blue.

I also love the little heart cherry, I think it added a special touch to this collection.

Ice Cream Cone Cupcakes were used as the party favors. They were made from traditional ice cream cones with chocolate cake and pink buttercream frosting. Check out the Cupcake ♥ Love Workshop on Crazy Domestic for the how to instructions.

I love how the Fairytale Tutu, paper goods and desserts all tied to together to create such a fun and colorful inspiration table. There's a lot more to come with the new collection, but we'll have to save that for a little later. I hope you're inspired to create your own Neapolitan party.

Fabulous Friday Feature: Mustache Bash from Party Starters

I absolutely fell in love with the Mustache Bash created by Pam from Party Starters for her son Corbin's birthday! I'm always looking for fun and creative boy themed parties and this has to be one of my favorites.

I love the mustache sticks, I'm not sure what it is about them, but they're just too fun!

These adorable printables were designed by Jen from Blush Printables. They were the perfect addition to Pam's party.

Okay, I know I said the mustache on a stick was my favorite, but these chocolate ones look delicious. I'm a sucker for chocolate, baker's twine and Bake It Pretty, what can I say.

Tutu Cute Thursday

Welcome to our first of many Tutu Cute Thursdays. Each Thursday we'll be launching a new Fairytale Tutu from our Fairytale Tutu Collection. To start things off we're going to start where everything began for Tweedle Dee Designs.

Tweedle Dee Designs started from one little pink tutu. Sean's niece Bella was turning one and I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Every little girl needs a tutu, so I purchased a set of instructions and ordered my materials. I have to say it was like Christmas when the box arrived and I couldn't wait to get started.

The first Fairytale Tutu was made and ready for many twirls, whirls and spins, I even made a matching one for her friend Raffe the rocking giraffe. Bella has enjoyed her first tutu and a few more after that. I can't believe something as small as creating a handmade tutu could bring so much joy, but that's truly the best part.

Fabulous Friday Feature: French Tea Party by Glorious Treats

I came across this gorgeous French themed tea party from Tori at Thoughtfully Simple and fell in love! I was even more excited when I found out it was a dessert table put together by Glory of Glorious Treats. I've admired Glory's delicious treats, like these incredible hibiscus flower cookies and am always inspired by her work.

Paris is one of my favorite places and all of the fabulous desserts made me feel like I was walking into une pâtisserie française, I loved it.

The french macaroons were my favorite. You may remember my first attempt at making macaroons at Easter, they were delicious.

The flower arrangements were simply stunning and all of the different shades of pink were so beautiful.

Thank you so much to Glorious Treats for letting us share your fabulous party. Needless to say I was so inspired by each and every detail. From the simple, yet sophisticated color palette to the gorgeous desserts and labels, this party brought back wonderful memories of my time in Paris.

Tutu Cute: Jessica's Fairytale Tutu

Jessica's mom, Tiffany, was the lucky winner of the Tweedle Dee Designs and Party Starters giveaway. {Sweet Treat Sunday} Martha Stewart Swag & More NYC Fun

Welcome to our first Sweet Treat Sunday! We received some incredible swag after the Martha Stewart Blogger's Night Out and I wanted to include you all in the fun. I know there were many of you who were not able to attend the event, so I thought I'd give my Martha Stewart goodies, as well as some of my favorite Martha Stewart products and a special treat from Magnolia Bakery to one lucky winner! I read about NY Cake on Amy Atlas' blog Sweet Designs and was so excited that I was going to have the opportunity to check it out.

Um, can you say selection! They had every baking item you could think of, in every size, shape and color, it was truly a baker's dream.

Cupcake liners galore!

I've never seen so many different colors, flavors, icings and sprinkles in one place.

As many of you know, I love to bake, so this was the store for me. I had a hard time trying to decide what I wanted to get and probably would of bought a lot more stuff if I had more room in my suitcase. Good thing they have an online store. My next stop, Magnolia Bakery!

Magnolia Bakery is a small shop on the corner of Bleecker and West 11th Street. I was glad to see that it wasn't too busy, as I've heard that it's not unusual to have a line wrapped around the corner. As you walk inside, you are welcomed by the smell of delicious baked goods and towers of empty cupcake boxes.

Magnolia is not only famous for their cupcakes, but their delicious layer cakes as well. Don't these look incredible!

I had no idea that you got to pick out your own cupcakes, I think I could have stood there forever trying to decide.

These vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting looked amazing.

I finally decided on a vanilla cupcake for Sean and a chocolate cupcake for me, but it wasn't easy.

Sean's cupcake made it home pretty much in one piece. A little melted, but he still enjoyed it.

Martha Stewart Blogger's Night Out in NYC!

Martha Stewart's Blogger's Night Out was nothing less then spectacular. All though the party was moved inside, due to the weather, it was so exciting to be in the MSLO offices. I didn't quite know what to expect and was in shock while walking through the offices on our way to the party. I was glad to have a couple of my blog friends with me, Danielle from Lucky Life Parties and Pam from Party Starters, to share the experience with. Everything you would expect Martha's work space to be like, it was.

As we walked to the party, I was so overcome with excitment that I fell to my knees at just the thought of being there. No, not really, but I did trip on my heel and I did fall to my knees and now have a lovely bruise :). What's a girl to do but laugh; Jay from Maples Cakes was kind enough to help me up and on my way I went.

The entrance to the party was lined with gorgeous displays from Martha Stewart Weddings, I love these ranunculus invitations and the lollipops were adorable.

Mini desserts are all the rage and these mini pink butterfly cakes were so cute.

I was so nervous that I have to say I didn't eat much, but couldn't pass up these delicious cupcakes.

Of course, Martha Stewart was absolutely stunning and effortlessly moved through the party greeting her guests, but it was just as exciting to meet the rest of her team, Hannah Milman, Exec Editorial Director Holiday & Crafts, Tiffany Sun, Online Editor (@MS_Living) and Vanessa Holden, Editor in Chief of Martha Stewart Living just to name a few!

My absolute highlight of the evening was meeting Amy from Amy Atlas Events! I was so nervous to introduce myself and couldn't believe she knew who I was, I was so excited. It was so fun to chat with her and she's incredibly sweet.

The party was amazing, I learned a lot and met so many wonderfully creative bloggers. I can't wait until the next blogger event. As we left the party we all received some incredible swag from Martha Stewart and Kraft, but I'll have to share that with you tomorrow as we kick off our first Sweet Treat Sunday!

Last week I was invited to attend the Martha Stewart Blogger's Night Out! I don't think I've ever been so excited in my entire life. I can't wait to meet Martha Stewart's creative team of bloggers and editors as well as some of my favorite party gals, Kate of Kate Landers Events, Danielle of Lucky Life Parties and Pam of Party Starters, just to name a few. This is such an incredible opportunity and I am so thankful that I am able to attend! Oh my goodness! Stehpanie from Somewhat Simple and Crazy Domestic emailed me in June and asked me if I was interested in being featured. Now, if that wasn't enough excitment for one day, I'm always so greatful for all of the wonderful Tweedle Dee Design features, she asked me if I would be interested in creating a workshop series centered around one of my favorite things, cupcakes! Yelling...Jumping...Calling my Mom! Okay, I think I'm good. The workshop is coming along and you'll have to stay tuned for all of the sweet details coming in August.

Real Parties: Avery's 1st Ballet Recital

Earlier this week I posted photos from Angela's 4th of July celebration. Well, she had also sent me some adorable photos of her daughter Avery's 1st Ballet Recital. She did a great job putting everything together and yes, she made those fabulous cookies I love so much.

I love the chandelier cupcake stand and of course the pink cupcakes are adorable.
